1. A squirrel in progress.
2. When I'm working on animals I often search online for pics to get their faces right. If you search for pictures of squirrels a disturbingly high percentage of the pictures that come up are of squirrel carcasses. On the other hand there are also a lot of squirrels in costumes.
Another thing I have noticed- when I use the words hardcore (as in shopping folks), kitty, and uh.. sewing machine (?) more people seem to find my blog here on searches. How odd.

Mouse is so Last Season!

Omygod, Blythe is putting out a Petite called Squiggly Squirrel in February! See, it's not just me (and Dale) who are nuts for them. Squirrels are SO hot right now!

Razmataz- The cutest felty squirrel yet made especially for Dale for Christmas!
My favorite dingo got a new coat. I discovered that being awakened by a goofy dog licking your face is a cheerful way to start the day.
Bloom tea for mum. This stuff is rolled and tied by tea artisans and the little pellets blossom into these when dropped into hot water. You will never be satisfied with Lipton again after watching one of these beauties steep.

This Is Nuts

For some asinine reason I decided that perhaps I might be in the market for a taxidermied squirrel. I went to Ebay to do a bit of shopping and quickly decided that perhaps I should stick to synthetic stuffed animals. Not only can you find plenty of odd "mountings" of squirrels but you can buy a frozen squirrel skin to make one for yourself! A new craft project! I think not. Blech.
