After complaining about the city ripping out the trees I know I ought to be happy that they are finally to the point in their renewal project of putting sod in next to our sidewalk. I am glad they are almost done and it will be lovely, yada yada, but this morning they arrived with a semi truck load of fresh manure, spread it out, wet it down with hoses, and left it to sit in the 90+ heat to prepare the area for the new grass. Needless to say I am not too thrilled.
