Quack

I have come to accept that most new television just sucks. Not only does it seem that more than half of it is reality TV that keeps getting more asinine and idiotic but the shows that actually do require writing seem to have been dreamt up by a drunk monkey. Take Cavemen for example. Apparently some genius believes that the Geico commercial characters will make good sitcom material. ABC has signed on for 13 episodes of this crap. The funny thing is that they have apparently run into problems with "racial stereotyping" and have had to rewrite things and try to dance around socially delicate issues (which was supposed to be the whole point of the show). Maybe I am totally off the mark and this show will become a classic and I'll be buying the box set in 15 years. But personally I would much rather have seen them do something with that Aflac duck...
