In my quest for the perfect bunny face (sometimes I look at animal photos online when I'm making them) I happened to start browsing for Blythe dolls. Now I had seen a couple of things about these googly-eyed girls before including patterns for tiny knitted togs for them but had never been particularly interested. Well, perhaps they caught me at a vulnerable moment this morning but I found myself oddly drawn to them and started thinking about which one I would want. There are hundreds of these things and they are not cheap. Not cheap means the 12" dolls can be $200 easily. So I figure I should get a smaller one right? Then there are all these shoes and wigs and bags you can get for them. Pages and pages of shoes! Tiny little shoes! Not to mention the possibilities of all the things I could make for it to wear. And if you get really into it you can do surgery on them and change their eyes and stuff. Now that's just the kind of creepy project I adore.
