What a Poser

Lenny the guinea pig and my fantastic model, the lovely Daisy. She's gotten plump! I met a tiny messy haired tri-colored at the pet store this weekend and am considering a new friend!

A Change of Heart

I decided I wasn't totally happy with my bear so I gave him a makeover. In other news, Forest is anxiously awaiting the Great Pumpkin Opening. He arrived at our house shortly before Halloween a couple years ago and was still in scavenging mode from having his rough start in life. While we were carving pumpkins he got into the innards and developed quite a taste for the seasonal treat. I myself am looking forward to some pumpkin ale.

A Little Big Top

Introducing Barnaby the balancing ball juggling circus bear! Don't worry, he's not about to take a spill. Oh, and that's my new "Aeon Flux" haircut.

Hired Help

I need to figure out a way to have someone else make my basic little bodies on the cheap for me so I can pop em out faster (plus that's the boring part). Perhaps now is the time to test out my monkey training skills. PS- FYI- my tattoo guy canceled out appt. due to some emergency so I don't know when I'm getting inked. Booo.

Stay or Go?

I finally did it. I finished Velora the Goblin Queen and I am not sure that I can bear to part with her. For now she stays on the coffee table.

A Broken Heart Leads to Art

Being booted off the train of love like a vagabond has inspired me to create art. Something a bit different: Meet Mr. Elton Skelton.

Name Your Price

Sunday morning. A time for sleeping in, drinking latte, and pondering the universe. On my vacation I met a woman who said that people who make dolls make them in their own likeness. So does this little cat resemble moi? He's part of that piece I'm working on, the biggest piece EVER with three animals together. I spent last night finishing up the necklace above and feeling like a crafting harlot going to the most interesting and exciting bidder. I jumped from the sweater to felting to beading and back with no remorse. The knitting goddess must be on a vacation of her own or she would have bitch slapped me by now.
