I had intended to give you a taste of some squirrel today but for some reason I can't upload pics right now so you're gonna have to wait. He is pretty cute though, so hold onto your pants. In other news, I have been working on my dolly a bit. I trimmed her hair and now have little blue hairs all over the floor in addition to the wooly bits that are getting mashed into the carpet. I also sand matted her face. This involved taking sand paper and taking the glossy finish off her head so she looks a little less plastic-y. I did a good job except that I erased a corner of her bottom lip so now I'm gonna have to fix that. I had planned on redoing her mouth at some point but this is forcing me into more advanced doll customization than I was prepared for. After you sand the face you can use chalk pastels to redo their eye and cheek makeup which is cool. It looks airbrushed. There are people who just customize these dolls for a living and do incredible, beautiful work on them! If you are not in the least bit interested in this you are probably very bored by all of this.
Also, had much too much work this week. House is trashed. Have headache. Poor Bailey Jane the ferret is not looking good. She's about 7 I believe (I got her from a rescue) and has cancer. It think she's winding down. I just didn't want to have to make the decision to end things. I had hoped that nature would be kind. She has been a good friend for a long time.
