The thing I have discovered about straight weaving on the loom is that it’s like a big smack of fiber gratification really quickly and all at once. You do the first few rows and it starts to bloom and then it hits you in a way that knitting by hand could never do just because of the difference in production time. I guess this is what machine knitting is like except that would REALLY be stepping out on the knitting goddess. I am sure she would throw my things out on the front lawn for that.

There's nothing but floorboards to indicate scale! Shawl? Scarf? It's pretty. Come on Tuesday and I will intercede with the Knitting Goddess for you. Also the Crochet Goddess, who is even more jealous. Fortunately the Cute Little Stuffed Art Thingy Goddess is pretty relaxed about being momentarily ignored.
Shoot. That's not Anonymous who wrote that. It was me.
Your weaving is gorgeous! I'm resisting the weaving bug till I retire. But you're making it hard, Woman! :0)
See you Tuesday - I hope. I want to see your shawl in person and hear about your loom.
