Make new friends but keep the old

Does anybody remember that song from Girl Scouts? It may shock some of you that I was a Girl Scout but I was for a long time. I wasn't even a rebellious Girl Scout or anything!

So here are some of my older creations. The taller guy is the last one. The rabbit is pretty old as is the blue guy. The blue guy kind of reminds me of the critters in the nail fungus commercial so he's been called Digger but I think he deserves a better name than that because he's actually pretty cute. I think in the middle of the night he gets up and eats cookies and pets the ferret and stuff. The bunny is pretty traditional of amigurumi. I did a couple of bunnies last summer and liked them and may end up doing some more.

So here's a peek at "pinhead" in his next stage of metamorphosis. I like the hat but I think we're both a little unsure about his face. He looks a bit pensive, don't you think? My buddy Kay from Tuesday knitting offered to give me some mohair curls to use as hair and said it would look kind of like dreadlocks so there's another option. We'll see what I decide after staring at him for a couple of days. I already ripped his face off once and you have to be careful when doing that that you don't end up with a decapitated beasty though I guess that would put a whole new spin on things.
